Lockdown

Stay Safe

Trying to find a witty headline for this post seems wrong, because there is nothing amusing to say about any of this. It is all seems much more serious than even Lockdown no. 1.

At the point of writing, we are still permitted to record this concert, which will be streamed at the beginning of March, but we will be taking the safety of all performers, and crew very seriously.

Inevitably by the time London was in Tier 3 in November, it looked unlikely that we would have an audience at our February concert, but we held on to the hope that February was far enough away that the curve might correct itself. Sadly, this is not the case, and infact the situation now seems very critical.

The venue: All Saints, West Dulwich is a very large church, and very well ventilated – we will need to wrap up warm, it may even feel like performing outside, but with the benefit of the naturally warm acoustic of the church. There is space in the performance area for all of us to be distanced, and not be too close to other performers. We are following all the updates on the news, and will take every precaution necessary to maintain the safety of every performer.

We have extended the time available to hear the concert to 1 week. This is such a heartbreaking time for so many people, for so many reasons, but music is something which can carry people through, and with the highest recording technology, we hope that we will be able to bring this concert safely to you.
