Chrisoula Kombotis

Chrisoula is a highly respected freelance violinist, violist and teacher based in Vienna. She has performed in many of the leading chamber orchestras, Wiener Kammerorchester, Wiener Kammerphilharmonie and the Wiener Kammeroper a.o. She was also a member of the Wiener Art Schrammeln and the leader of the Wiener Frauenschrammeln. This ensemble now continues with a new name, the Wiener Tonscherben, and a new second violinst, Hartmut Ometzberger. Schrammelquartett music is the quintessential music of Vienna, founded in the 19th Century. The ensemble consists of two violins, an accordion and a special quitar with additional bass strings.

Chrisoula is leader of the Supreme orchestra in Vienna. She is also much in demand as a teacher, teaching at the Allegro Vivace music school, privately and on music courses.
