Today, on the assumed date of Beethoven’s birth 250 years ago, we celebrate the life, music and legacy of this incredible composer.

Our loyal supporters at Schott Music also share this anniversary year with him, as they have marked 250 years in business. That is quite some achievement, but no more so than in this difficult year for many in the music industry.

Schott Music have never failed to supply us with even the most obscure piece of chamber music, in fact, I think they may like the challenge.

Our concert season for 2021 is an exciting one, but with an unpredictable box office revenue, we will rely more than ever on corporate and private donations. We are very grateful as ever to Schott Music for their ongoing support of us, and wish them many, many more years in business.
